The RF24RE4 is the current DCS 24-inch outdoor refrigerator. Its guide gives two numbers that matter for repairs: it is designed for air between 50 and 100°F, and it should be winterized once daily lows reach 38°F. A lot of “not cooling” calls in heat waves come from units in full afternoon sun with the front grille blocked.
The control can also be put in Showroom Mode, where the light and display work but the compressor and fans do not. We check that before anything else on a unit that is lit up and warm.
