What Green LED flashing Means
The early DCS RF24-D outdoor refrigerated drawers have no number display for alarms; they use one colored LED next to the controls. The DCS use and care guide says a flashing green LED with a tone means a drawer has been open for more than five minutes. The alarm stops as soon as the drawer is closed.
Common Causes of Green LED flashing
- Drawer not pushed fully closed
- Tall bottles or debris stopping the drawer short
- Drawer rails stiff with grit so the drawer rebounds
- Drawer sensor out of position
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Push both drawers fully closed and check that nothing on the drawer rails or in the back of the drawer is stopping it an inch short. Outdoor drawers collect grit on the rails, and a quick wipe of the slides often cures a drawer that bounces back open.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If the drawer is fully closed and the LED still flashes green, the drawer sensor or its magnet has shifted, and adjusting it means removing the drawer from its slides.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
