What All indicators flashing Means
When every indicator on the DCS RF15I ice machine’s touch panel flashes without stopping, the DCS guide calls it a communication error: the main board and the user interface have lost contact. The panel cannot pass commands, and the guide says to call service for a diagnostic check.
Common Causes of All indicators flashing
- Ribbon cable between the touch panel and main board loose or corroded
- Moisture behind the control panel after rain or hosing
- Power surge damaging the interface or main board
- Failed main control board
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the machine for two minutes and plug it back in. Outdoor units sometimes lose communication after a power surge or a storm. If the flashing returns, shut the water supply valve so the machine cannot fill without control and book the visit.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The interface cable plugs into the main board behind the panel, and testing which end has failed needs the machine powered with covers off.
- Buying a board to try first is expensive when the fix is often a cable or a dried-out connector.
