What F2-04 / F3-04 Means
F2-04 and F3-04 on DCS WOSV230 and WODV230 ovens are communication errors seen from the power board side: the clock module did not respond in time or at all. They pair with F1-04 and F1-05, which report the same broken link from the clock module’s side.
Common Causes of F2-04 / F3-04
- Connector between the power board and clock module loose
- Clock module failing
- Harness damaged by heat above the oven cavity
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Reset power once at the breaker when the oven is cool. If the error returns, book service and mention whether the clock display was blank or frozen when it happened.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The manual checks the connection first and replaces the clock module only if the connection is sound, work done with the oven pulled forward.
