What F1-01 / F1-02 Means
On DCS WOSV230 and WODV230 wall ovens an F code has three parts: F for a failure, the board that raised it (1 = clock module, 2 = upper or only power board, 3 = lower power board), and a two-digit error number. F1-01 and F1-02 are start-up errors from the clock module: it found no master power board (01) or no slave power board for the lower oven (02).
Common Causes of F1-01 / F1-02
- Model ID set incorrectly in the technician menu
- Harness between the clock module and power board unplugged or damaged
- Master (upper) or slave (lower) power board failed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the oven off at the breaker for a minute and back on. If this happened right after a power board was replaced, the model ID may not have been set correctly, which is a technician step. Otherwise, the oven will not run until the boards find each other, so book service.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Setting the model ID is done in a technician mode, and the wrong setting stops the oven from running correctly.
- The power boards are in the top of the oven behind the control panel, reachable only with the oven out of the cabinet.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
