What F2-01 / F3-01 Means
F2-01 and F3-01 are start-up errors from the power boards of a DCS WOSV230 or WODV230: the board looked for the clock module and did not find it. F2 is the master power board (the only oven on a WOSV230, the upper oven on a WODV230) and F3 is the lower oven’s slave board.
Common Causes of F2-01 / F3-01
- Harness between the power board and clock module disconnected
- Clock module failed
- Harness pinched when the oven was installed
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Reset power at the breaker once. If the clock display stays blank or the code returns, book the visit. The oven cannot be operated without the clock module.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The harness runs from the top of the oven into the control panel, and it can only be traced with the oven out of the cabinet.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
