The RF24RE introduced the digital control that the later RF24RE3 kept: set the temperature by holding SET and pressing WARMER or COLDER, with a range of 34 to 42°F. When “do” flashes with the door closed, the door switch or magnet has stopped registering the door.
Short-cycling compressors on hot days usually come from poor airflow at the front grille.
