The RF24R predates the digital outdoor refrigerators. It uses a cold control knob behind the front grille, where a higher number means colder, and it defrosts its cooling plate automatically each time the compressor stops. Heavy frost on the plate usually means the door is not sealing or the control is set too cold.
A cold control that no longer clicks the compressor on and off is replaced as a part.
