The BGC36-BQAR comes from the BGC generation that preceded today’s BH1 Series 7. Under the grill, the ignition wiring runs close to the heat and, in built-in islands, sometimes within reach of rodents, so a grill that lights on some burners but not others often has a damaged wire rather than a failed module.
Warped heat shields change how heat reaches the grates; they are replaced when they no longer sit flat.
