The BGA132-BI is the built-in side burner that DCS sold with the BGA grills. Like any side burner, it collects boil-overs, and after rain the burner well can hold water that stops ignition until it dries.
A corroded burner cap gives a patchy flame ring and is inexpensive to replace.
