What F2-13 / F3-13 Means
F2-13 and F3-13 on DCS WOSV230 and WODV230 wall ovens mean the cavity temperature sensor has been found open or short-circuited. Without a valid reading the power board cannot control temperature, so that cavity stops heating.
Common Causes of F2-13 / F3-13
- Cavity sensor failed open or shorted
- Sensor harness to the power board damaged
- Loose sensor connector at the board
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the oven off. If only one cavity of a double oven shows the error, the other can usually still be used. There is no owner test; the sensor and its connector are checked from behind the oven.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The manual’s procedure plugs the new sensor into the board before fitting it, which means working at the power board with the oven pulled out.
