What F1-03 Means
F1-03 is a general software error reported by the clock module of a DCS WOSV230 or WODV230 wall oven. The module found something wrong in its own program and stopped. The service manual’s first step is to power the oven off and on; the clock module is replaced only if the error keeps returning.
Common Causes of F1-03
- Software glitch after a brownout or power surge
- Clock module memory failing
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
With the oven cool, turn it off at the breaker, wait one minute and turn it back on. Reset the clock if asked. If F1-03 does not return over the next few uses, no repair is needed.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- A replacement clock module has to be matched to the oven and set up with the correct model ID before the oven will run.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
