On the BH1-48R-N, the rotisserie burner at the back of the hood is the part owners most often ask about. It is lit through a safety valve that must be held until the flame proves; release it too early and the burner goes out, which DCS lists as the first thing to check.
The long firebox also shows uneven burners more clearly. A flame that is short on one burner and tall on the next usually points to debris in that burner’s ports or orifice rather than the supply.
