Series 7 is DCS’s hand-finished line below Series 9, and the BH1-48RI-N is its most equipped 48-inch model. The infrared sear burner reaches very high temperature quickly, and its ceramic surface can crack if it is hosed down or hit by a cold marinade while hot.
We regularly find the ignitor electrode knocked out of line after a thorough clean. A small gap change is enough to stop a burner lighting, and it is a quick fix once found.
