The RGCV2-305 is the self-cleaning all-gas 30-inch range in the RGV2 family; the C marks the self-cleaning version, as it did on the older RGSC. DCS reminds installers to remove a cardboard spacer protecting the broiler, and a broiler that behaves oddly on a new range is sometimes still packed.
A self-clean that will not start is checked through the lock and the control rather than the burners.
