The RF15IR2 is the generation before today’s RF15IR3. Most of its problems come from water: the inlet valve has a fine screen that clogs with sediment, and the drain line behind the machine kinks when the unit is pushed back into its opening.
Scale on the evaporator makes thin, slow ice and is cleaned with an approved ice machine cleaner.
