We confirm the cutout dimensions, level the unit, route the water line for an ice maker or the drain path for a cooling drawer, and confirm the electrical supply a beer dispenser or a warming drawer needs. Any connection to the gas supply, and the leak test that follows it, is completed to code by a licensed technician before the unit is ever lit for the first time — that step is never shortened or skipped.
On the legacy indoor line, the same care applies to setting a wall oven into a cabinet opening square and level, or hanging a range hood correctly against the cabinetry and duct run above it, since a hood installed off-level is one of the more common reasons a fan feels louder or less effective than it should.
